“There is another advantage,—and a very important one,—in referring decisions to the Holy Spirit with increasing frequency. Perhaps you have not thought of this aspect, but its centrality is obvious. To follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance is to let yourself be absolved of guilt. It is the essence of the Atonement. It is the core of the curriculum. The imagined usurping of functions not your own is the basis of fear… hmmm so to follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance, to ask what should be done in this moment is to absolve yourself of any guilt and fear that comes from thinking you may not have given the right answer and that you have taken over a function that was not yours to do, leading you into fear,… so that’s another advantage, avoiding all that by simply asking the Holy Spirit…”

What Is the Resurrection?

What Is Death?

“The curious belief that there is part of dying things that may go on apart from what will die, does not proclaim a loving God nor re-establish any grounds for trust… ” Hmmm this curious belief that there is a part of dying things,  and we hear about “oh their spirit goes on” while we believe that their body, a part of them died, and Jesus is saying that that type of thinking does not proclaim a loving God, he says, “does not proclaim a loving God nor re-establish any grounds for trust “ … and just looking at that to see in the thought, well the spirit goes on although their body dies, does there seem to be a feeling of trust in that? Is there still a feeling of distrust in that?…

Can God Be Reached Directly?

Are Psychic Powers Desirable?

Is Reincarnation So?

If it were responsible for some of the difficulties the individual faces now, his task would still be only to escape from them now. It is certain, however, that the way to salvation can be found by those who believe in reincarnation and by those who do not. The idea cannot, therefore, be regarded as essential to the curriculum. Does Jesus Have A Special Place In Healing?

How Are Healing and Atonement Related?

Hmm… I like where Jesus told us that the teacher of God has taken accepting the atonement or letting go of illusion for himself as his only function, making that the practice in every moment… and I liked the reminder that to judge what illusions can be healed and what can’t be healed is to limit God, and to believe in illusions is to limit God… he says it’s your function to recognize for your brother that what he believes about himself is not true, and this can be done verbally or in the silence.. Jesus says it is your forgiveness that must shows him this, the end of your illusions about him shows him this… … healing is very simple, atonement, the end of illusion is received by you and offered to your brother… … he says it’s in the receiving of the Truth, the letting go of the illusion, that the healing lies…

What Is the Role of Words In Healing?

An excerpt:

“A major hindrance in this aspect of his learning is the teacher of God’s fear about the validity of what he hears. And what he hears may indeed be quite startling. It may also seem to be quite irrelevant to the presented problem as he perceives it, and may, in fact, confront the teacher with a situation that appears to be very embarrassing to him. All these are judgments that have no value. They are his own, coming from a shabby self-perception which he would leave behind. Judge not the words that come to you, but offer them in confidence. They are far wiser than your own. God’s teachers have God’s Word behind their symbols. And He Himself gives to the words they use the power of His Spirit, raising them from meaningless symbols to the Call of Heaven itself. …. ….”

Hmm that last part is encouraging and instructional that I can let go of my meaning behind the symbols , then the Holy Spirit will provide Gods symbols, God’s meaning,… just allowing the Holy Spirit to do the interpretation of the symbols of words… to the meaning that is Gods.

What Is the Peace of God?

Holy Spirit, Inner Guide, My higher Self, The Truth of what I am,  help me today to give up the wanting the illusion to be the truth, help me to give up attack and recognizing attack as seeing someone’s interests as separate than my own…help me give up separation, the belief that “me, my, mine” is real and that I have to defend it… help me instead to remember that God’s will is the only will, that It’s true, all else is illusion. And in maintaining that illusion all I get is death and fear and weeping… and if I think that death will be the end of this, then let me remember that death is but an illusion. One illusion does not end another illusion.  Only the truth can end the illusion… help me to see the truth today, help me to be in peace…help me value peace more….amen.
