Share Your Experience of Awakening Together

We are very excited to be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Awakening Together this year. As a part of this celebration we are seeking volunteers who are interested in sharing their experiences with Awakening Together via an “Interview Toast.”

 

If you’re feeling called, here’s what we are asking:

  1. Complete this form.
  2. The interviewer will reach out to you via email to schedule a 15-minute time slot. (The interview will only be about 15 minutes.)
  3. The interview will take place via zoom.
  4. During the interview, we hope to hear how Awakening Together has supported you in becoming Self-reliant on your own Inner Wisdom.
  5. The interviews will take place between June 15-July 15, 2023.

We will be creating a reel that will be shared in the sanctuary, on YouTube and on various other channels on which Awakening Together shares. The reel will be shared beginning August 6, 2023.

What better way to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of this community than to “toast” the community. Please volunteer if this opportunity calls to you.

Awakening Together is an assembly of peers, all of whom are dedicated to realizing truth, all of whom see with clarity, all of whom are inspired teachers, whether they see themselves that way or not. At this retreat, each one will have the opportunity to speak, to teach, to listen, to meditate, to contemplate, and to commune in sangha with one another.

Shawna Summers will facilitate the Self-Inquiry Retreat. This retreat is based on the teaching of Indian sage, Ramana Maharshi. At this retreat, you will learn the subtleties of self-inquiry. You will participate in guided self-inquiry, meditative self-inquiry, self-inquiry with a partner, journaling based on self-inquiry, and you will contemplate and discuss quotes by Ramana Maharshi. The purpose of the retreat is to help you make advances in the process of self-inquiry in a very short time, so when you go home from the retreat, you will be able to use self-inquiry more effectively to abide in the true Self and detach from the false self.

Live Meditation with Michael DeForbes, “Being Present Meditation” 5-4-23

Michael DeForbes’ live meditations are on the 1st Wednesday of the month 9-9:30 pm ET and the 3rd Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 pm ET.

Reflections from the Loving Consciousness Loving All Retreat

Following the recent online retreat participants shared their experiences from the Loving Consciousness, Loving All retreat. During this retreat, the participants learned how to deepen into these two core practices. In this reflections program, the retreatants shared about the topics of non-attachment, the true meaning of love, and how attending this specific retreat is enriching their meditation journey and their innate ability to Love it ALL.
