At this retreat, you will receive a spiritual map called the Four Principles of God, which will help give direction to your spiritual path by distinguishing between illusion and truth and highlighting important stages of awakening. The map will also help you streamline spiritual practices to the most effective by focusing your attention on truth. Regina Dawn Akers has taught the Four Principles of God in many forums since realizing this truth in the spring of 2012, so it’s very possible you’ve heard this teaching before. You may have attended this retreat before. However, as Regina continues her own spiritual journey and moves closer to full realization of the First Principle, her way of seeing and understanding this truth continues to evolve. About John Mark: 
A single unexpected moment in his mid 20’s left him with a vast sense of emptiness.  

He would spend the next 15 years immersed in worldly activity, trying in vain to fill this emptiness. His “normal” life of businessman, husband, and father had all the hallmarks of great success. But that vast emptiness keep haunting him. Finally, in 2007, he was compelled by some greater force to sell his business and begin the inward search for the true peace and happiness that had always eluded him. Almost immediately he was swept up in a tidal wave of Grace.  For a man used to control and responsibility, it was particularly unsettling that these miracles began to move and direct his life into uncharted waters. 

In 2009, he was guided to “A Course in Miracles.” Instinctively, he knew this was what he had been searching for. It was as though it had been written just for him. A Course in Miracles led him to the direct experience of God’s limitless Love and Perfect Peace.

Pray Without Ceasing

Ramana Maharshi observed there were two primary paths to Self-Realization; the first being the path of wisdom or self-inquiry and the second being the path of devotion.  In this retreat, we will take a deep dive into the second path, which has been called the way of the heart.   Participants will contemplate what it means to pray, to whom or to what do we pray, and most importantly, how to cultivate and sustain a deep and enduring regular practice of prayer. Join facilitator Anne Blanchard as she guides participants through an examination of what is required in the devotional pathway and how one’s way of being can become love: a love of Truth and God and a willingness to let go and surrender anything blocking the experience of this love.

Practicing the Presence Dyad Retreat

Following the “Pray without Ceasing” retreat (Oct 3-7), there will be an opportunity to practice the presence while participating in Dyads. This retreat is for everyone interested in an extremely deep experience of self-inquiry, regardless of whether you are new to self-inquiry or you’ve been practicing self-inquiry for years. 

Psychologists have discovered that dyads (two people sharing in a structured way) are a powerful way of going deeper within one’s self in order to see that which is beyond one’s daily conscious awareness. At this retreat, we will utilize this same practice for the purpose of awakening. This is a highly structured, silent retreat with no time for email, social media, telephone conversations, etc.

You do not have to have participated in Pray without Ceasing in order to attend this retreat.
