Join us for the brand new program, “Prayer Circle” with Revs. Jane Sobel & Melody Brauninger debuting Sunday, March 9th, 2025 at 9:30am ET/7:30am MT. This program will be in the Sanctuary every other week beginning Sunday, March 9th, 2025, from 9:30 -10 am/7:30-8 am MT.
Jane and/or Melody will share a reading about prayer from different non-dual points of view or personal insight. Time will be given for participants to offer their prayer verbally to the group; a time for those wishing to offer their prayer in silence; and then time for everyone to be with all prayers as we sit in a virtual prayer circle.
Every other Sunday, 9:30-10:00am ET / 7:30-8:00am MT

Member Spotlight is a special 30-minute program held on the second Sunday of each month, celebrating the unique journeys of our community members.
Here is some information about Lynne:
Lynne Harley is a Life Coach, Author and a passionate Mental Health Advocate and Speaker. She currently resides in rural Saskatchewan. Her life work, spanning 40 years in the field of social work and transformation, has been to empower individuals to believe in themselves and their potential.
Lynne’s award-winning children book, “What If You Could?” was inspired by her work, her own personal journey and the profound impact of her brother Craig’s death by suicide in 2017.
Her inspirational tale resonates with readers of all ages, highlighting the importance of bringing awareness to the self-talk that we hear, as we prepare to leave our comfort zone to spread our wings and fly… A message Lynne shares with readers of ALL ages. Everyone, from children to seniors, must navigate change. This book speaks to the power of listening deeply to our inner wisdom, the voice of love that guides us to evolve and live into our potential.
Lynne is currently finalizing the manuscript for the sequel to What If you Could? Her upcoming book titled “Just Do It Afraid” is a celebration of nature, bravery, and the transformative power of choosing love over fear.

To the degree that you are unaware of ego, you are a slave to ego. It speaks in your mind as you, and you think it is you, so you talk, feel and act based on its deception. The way to become free of ego is, first and foremost, to become aware of its cunning messages.
In this retreat, you will learn to see how the ego tricks you into living from its guidance instead of from spiritual intuition. When you leave this retreat, you will see the ego more clearly than you did before. That will provide you with the opportunity to disregard ego, which is how you free yourself from it.
Whether this is the first time you’re taking this retreat or the 3rd time, you will find that spending time in the foundational teachings helps to bring to life in direct experience what you may not have been ready for before.
The retreat will begin at 10am ET (8am MT) and end at 5pm ET (3pm MT) each day. A 2-hour lunch period will be provided beginning about 1pm ET (11am MT).

We were thrilled to have two special events during this month’s Quarterly Member Meeting.
We celebrated Joy’s commitment and completion of the Ministerial Preparation Program (MPP) at her ordination ceremony. Rev. Regina Dawn Akers was our guest speaker.
Rev. Rhoda Makled introduced, Quarterly Volunteer Spotlight. It is a time when a volunteer within Awakening Together is spotlighted for their contributions and service. Lin Castaldo was our first spotlight! Rev. Anne Blanchard was the guest speaker.
The Gentle Healing curriculum guides a group of committed students who would like to make consistent, gentle progress toward genuine peace, joy, and love.
A new Year 3 group, led by Rev. Michele Hojnacki, will meet weekly in the Sanctuary on Mondays starting March 3rd at 5-6 pm ET/4-5 pm MT. Please be aware that Gentle Healing Years 1 and 2 are prerequisites for participation in this program. We don’t recommend Year 3 for anyone who has not completed Year 2. This is because the contemplations build a clear understanding of the spiritual teachings that are taught in Year 1 and Year 2.
Year 3 is based on The Seven Steps to Awakening and the supporting book, Out of the Stillness which will be contemplated with Inner Wisdom. Participants will be asked to participate in class and to post their contemplations on the Awakening Together Forum. There is nothing more important to true growth than realizing that you are not the voice of the mind – you are the one who hears it.’ ~ Michael Singer.
Whether we realize it or not, our lives are structured around pleasing what might be called our internal “judge” (aka, the ego or internal critic). In this retreat, we will learn to identify the judge, which is nothing more than a cluster of ideas, standards and beliefs. We will look at how this cluster of thought directs our actions, attention and aspirations.
You will learn to recognize that the voice of the judge is not your voice and learn how hearing this voice as “other” is helpful in discovering you are not your thoughts. We will also examine the ways in which we engage the judge even though we are attempting to disengage and, we will practice disengaging from the judge as a prerequisite to abiding in no-self.
The retreat will begin at 10am ET (8am MT) and end at 5pm ET (3pm MT) each day. A 2-hour lunch period will be provided beginning about 1pm ET (11am MT).
