Satsang Reflections is a monthly dialogue held after the Live Satsang. The purpose of this installment is to share what was most impactful, hear from others about what they took away, and deepen into the teaching from the Satsang interview with John Astin. We invite you to come and share or just listen to others.  All are welcome!

We hope you can join us live, but if not, fear not. Satsang Reflections will be recorded for broadcast and replay on all of Awakening Together’s platforms including the website and podcast.

Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert and Connie Poole play Regina Dawn Akers’ Early Teaching videos and invite those in attendance to contemplate those teachings along with them.

Because these teachings are so helpful, Jacquelyn and Connie plan to slowly review them by playing one or two of them each week and contemplating them in a group format.

Audio & Homework~ Gentle Healing Year 1 with Rev. Michele Hojnacki – Week 5

Rev. Michele Hojnacki guides a group of committed students through year 1 of Gentle Healing who want to make consistent, gentle progress toward genuine peace, joy, and love. This group meets weekly on Mondays at 5-7 pm ET/3-5 pm MT and all members are committed to specific assignments and practices between group meetings.

Heart Explorations: Embracing the Whole Show ~ 2/21/23

During our time together, we will explore what it takes to live from an open, undefended heart.  Naturally, any true exploration of living from the heart necessarily entails taking a deep and sustained look at what prevents us from keeping our hearts open.  Grounded in the knowledge that the essence of us, our true nature, is the very lovingness within us all, we will explore how to recognize and release egoic energies by cultivating open-hearted awareness practices which support us in directly experiencing our true Self.  By leaning into willingness, steeped in self-honesty, and with a consistent dash of courage, we endeavor to open to whatever life brings, as it brings it, that is, on life’s terms.  In so doing, we trust that everything – absolutely everything – is here for us to use for healing, for purification, and for learning to live from the heart.  We look forward to supporting each other in our individual explorations of how we truly embrace the entirety of this show we call life.

He is also a singer, songwriter, and recording artist having produced seven CDs of original spiritual-contemplative music. In addition to his writing and music, John holds a Ph.D. in health psychology, is an internationally acclaimed scholar in the field of mind-body medicine, and a professor of counseling/clinical psychology at Santa Clara University.

Have you ever felt stuck on the spiritual path? Does your life feel like a distraction from what you think the spiritual path should be? What if we told you that your experience and your life are perfect, and we can show you how to use both to awaken?

At this retreat you will learn about five unexpected pathways to wisdom: thought, judgment, pain, helplessness, and confusion. These five pathways are usually thought of as obstacles. With just the slightest shift it is seen that an obstacle becomes a pathway.

Anne will guide you through processes and practices that turn attention to the Truth and guide us from the wisdom within.

This retreat is facilitated by Anne Blanchard.

Retreat Schedule

The retreat will begin at 10am ET (8am MT) and end at 5pm ET (3pm MT) each day. A 2-hour lunch period will be provided beginning about 1pm ET (11am MT).

Retreat Fee is $300
