The Awakening Together Radio Is Down Until Further Notice.

We are having technical difficulties with the Awakening Together Radio and it may take some time to correct these difficulties. Therefore, the AT Radio is down until further notice.

If you typically use the AT Radio to listen to the Sanctuary, you can come into the Sanctuary during open hours on a computer, tablet, or smart phone. You can also dial the Sanctuary on any phone by dialing 1-408-638-0986 or 1-646-876-9923. Be sure to use meeting ID number 862 361 2484 followed by the # sign twice. John Mark StroudJoin us on February 17 at 7:30 pm ET as we join with our guest, John Mark Stroud for our first Satsang Interview on our new Zoom platform. You’ll be able to see John Mark and interact with him. This is our second Satsang interview with John Mark Stroud. As you may know, he was the retreat leader at our 2016 Fall Retreat. We are happy to welcome him back for our February Satsang.

John Mark relates this about his awakening experience: “In early 2011, I experienced a spiritual awakening.  It is sometimes referred to as Enlightenment.  That experience deeply and radically changed my life.  The months following the Enlightenment were spent in deep silence and stillness. Being a relative newcomer to the spiritual path, I also spent these months studying great teachings in order to place the awakening experience into a context that would allow the universal truth be communicated to all.  This truth passes all religion, dogma and creed. The truth about our very nature is Limitless, Eternal, All Loving, and Ever Present.”

Mark Your Calendar – Free Zoom Training Before the Sanctuary Goes to Zoom

The Awakening Together Sanctuary will use Zoom instead of PalTalk as its online platform beginning on Sunday, December 2. Our last day in PalTalk will be Wednesday, November 28.

To help you become familiar with our new online Sanctuary platform, Awakening Together will offer free Zoom training sessions on November 29, November 30 and December 1. In these sessions, you will learn:

  • How to turn on/off your video camera
  • How to unmute/mute your microphone
  • How to raise your hand
  • How to see who else is in the Sanctuary
  • How to use the Zoom chat board
  • New Sanctuary Etiquette

You may attend any of the following Zoom training sessions. You are also invited to attend more than one training session:

April’s Movie Moves to May ~ Faith Like Potatoes

We have decided to postpone the next Movie Discussion Group until the fourth Sunday in May, which is May 27. The movie that was originally scheduled for April will be discussed in May, and there will be no Movie Discussion Group in April.

The movie that we will discuss in May is Faith Like Potatoes. This inspiring true story of a rugged South African farmer, Angus Buchan, is set in the turbulent hills of the KZN Midlands of South Africa. Angus’ manic quest for material success is slowly transformed into a wild love for God and people, as he wrestles with faith, hope, natural disasters and tragic personal loss. The movie is available to rent on Amazon, YouTube and Vudu.

Radio (Internet Broadcast) update – 7-25-17

My Internet is up and running at the new house and the speed is now at 100%.
The Radio Broadcast Server is running now and can be accessed through the player on our website. Go to awakening-together.org and under the On-Line Sanctuary Menu select Listen-Live Internet Broadcast and click on the play button of the player.

The Shoutcast App and website is not broadcasting our programming at this time. They are working to resolve the problem.

Update on the status of our Internet Broadcast (Radio)

My Internet is up and running at the new house but the speed is at 75% because of old wiring.  We are having a new dedicated Data line run on Tuesday to get it to 100%.
