Being clear about what is thought is incredibly helpful. But when the rubber meets the road the stored pain can feel like it is too much to handle. And while we know this is just another thought, in the heat of the moment, one of the thoughts that doesn’t get seen is just this. “This is too much. I can’t handle this.” This thought, when seen, is the path to surrender. This is where the thorn gets removed.
