What We Love Is What We Do With our Time
Are we looking for an experience, or are we looking for truth for the sake of truth, wherever it may lead us? Each day is a precious gift, a gold coin that we can choose to spend on what we value, on what we love. Looking at how we actually spend our time gives us a true accounting of what we love. The greatest happiness can be found in living a life of truth, of love. Reverend Rev. Jay McCormick spoke today on the power of using our time purposefully.

Awakening Together Weekly Gathering with Reverend Gloria Wells
Gloria Wells was our Minister this Sunday at 10:15 AM in the Awakening Together Sanctuary. Her topic was “Closing the gap, learning to fly.”

Sometimes we can feel resistance to going inside. Sometimes we can choose to hide in our intellect, our habits, our means of escape, and the experience thought loop. These distractions are all means that we temporarily use to pull away from the subtle call to go within, to go inside, to go to the place of peace that is within our being. In this gathering we will explore some ways in which we typically hide and emphasize our innate ability to contemplate the inner mystery. We will discuss how we can move with ease past our desire to hide, through the fog and into the heart of being, into the home of our soul, into where truth resides.

Every day is an opportunity for transformation. Remember that there is a voice from above that comes to us and everyone in our life is a mirror and we serve as mirrors for everyone else. Trusting the creator gives us the greatest power as we are assisted by the Divine. This is a key through all of our human trials and tests of purification. As we repent from our habits, we clean the barn and continue to take the next step, never being satisfied, until the Self is fully let go.
