Visiting La Veta This Summer? Come See Us!
If you have visited La Veta since mid-May you may have seen this sweet community outreach table at the Farmer’s Market on Thursday afternoons in downtown La Veta.
We are blessed to have a village of volunteers who have taken the opportunity to serve and reach out to the local La Vetians with the intention of sharing about our community and the local resources available…including the retreat house.
Awakening Together shares the community outreach table with five other local organizations that offer resources for wellness, spirituality, and creativity in the La Veta area.
Thank you to Joy Bedford for taking the lead on this and to the other locals (Shawna Summers and Val Stepien) who volunteer at the weekly community outreach table. We also want to send a big thank you to Marisol Landin for designing the flier that is used to spotlight different opportunities available through Awakening Together.
