Join us for the brand new program, “Willingness” with Sami Ross debuting Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, from 11:30am-12:00 pm ET/9:30-10:00 am MT. This program will be weekly on Wednesdays, 11:30am-12:00 pm ET/9:30-10:00 am MT.
During this half hour we will listen together, either in meditation or contemplation, with eyes opened or closed, as a beautiful prayer of willingness is spoken. We will notice without judgment what is present, the “yesses” and the “noes”, with open curiosity.
The prayer below first came to the sangha in Mexico in the form of a video and, with Guidance, was transformed into a prayer of willingness. I use it often to begin my day, reminding me of my commitment to awakening and Who walks with me. It’s my joy to share it with this sangha as we walk each other Home.
Invocation
This is my purpose today:
to awaken to my true Identity.
For that I, give my mind and heart to my inner Guide, the Holy Spirit,
the Voice of reason inside of me,
the source of Universal Inspiration
the love and the peace that dwells in me.
I am willing to choose the peace of God as the only purpose in my life,
forgiveness as my only function here.
I am willing to accept the perfect happiness that God has given me
by uniting my will with God’s and so witnessing of my choice for love.
I am willing to stay vigilant and to observe my thoughts without
judgment.
I am willing to see the circumstances of my life as a classroom
where I learn what has yet to be healed in my mind,
instead of seeing them as punishments or the rewards of fate.
I am willing to take full responsibility for where I choose to focus
in what I think, perceive and feel.
I am willing to see innocence shining beyond circumstances and
appearances.
I am willing to question and release beliefs and limiting thoughts
that reflect separation and specialness.
I am willing to quiet my mind and to admit that I know nothing,
giving up of my own plan for salvation
and asking the Holy Spirit to be my guide.
I am willing to let go of fear, recognizing it as my own devising
and a strategy to shield me from love.
Now I surrender to happiness.
I relinquish control and place my life in the hands of my true Self.
And in total confidence I let the Spirit of God guide the way Home
