Rev. Shiryl Kaplan will resign at the end of March as the Awakening Together Retreat House Caretaker, and we’d like to say:
Thank you so much for your years of service, Shiryl!
Rev. Shiryl has worked for and with Awakening Together since October 2016. At that time, Shiryl came on board as Assistant Sanctuary Director. She held that position until she agreed to become Retreat House Caretaker two years later in November of 2018.
For any of you who have had an opportunity to visit the Awakening Together Retreat House, you know what passion and devotion Shiryl brought to her role as Retreat House Caretaker. And, oh my goodness! Anyone who has attended in-person retreats at the Retreat House can attest to Shiryl’s hospitality and superior cooking skills!
Again, we say a very hearty thank you to Shiryl for all that she has done. We know she will continue to teach and join in the Sanctuary. Shiryl is among the ministers who regularly lead the Weekly Gathering and shares through her program, Embracing the Real, in the Sanctuary on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 5:30 pm ET/3:30 pm MT.
