We are in search of a Volunteer Webmaster, leading to potential consultation or job opportunities, to help maintain and enhance our extensive WordPress site. This is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer your time for a great cause, ensuring our digital presence is as impactful as our mission.
What We’re Looking For:
- Heart for Service: An individual driven by altruism and eager to support our mission through their technical expertise.
- WordPress Whiz: Proficient with WordPress, able to manage a large site with ease, ensuring it’s always up and running.
- Creative Collaborator: Someone with a flair for design, interested in working on site improvements and potential redesign projects.
- Detail-Oriented Developer: Ready to tackle day-to-day site maintenance, updates, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Communicative and Collaborative: Excellent communication skills, able to coordinate with our team and contribute ideas.
Volunteer Details:
- Location: Fully remote, contributing from anywhere.
- Commitment: Flexible hours, ideally 1-3 hours per day, 5-7 days a week
- Benefits: Although this begins as an unpaid volunteer role, you’ll gain valuable experience, expand your portfolio, and have the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a real difference. Letters of recommendation can also be provided.
