As we begin 2024 we are thrilled to announce the first Satsang of the year. Please join Jeff Bailey who will be joining us for our January Satsang. This special event will take place on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. MT in our Zoom sanctuary. Jeff will be interviewed by Rev. Cyndi Krupp.
Jeff is not only a guest for our January Satsang but he is also beginning a new sharing in the sanctuary on January 10 @ 5:30 p.m. ET called “The Yoga Mind” as well as leading a retreat at the Awakening Together Retreat House in La Veta, CO called “Healing through Yoga and Prayer.” If you’re a long time yoga practitioner or a newbie Jeff’s gentle integrated approach promises to support you.

He has been a student of A Course In Miracles since 1990. One of its principle messages corresponds perfectly with The Yoga Sutras: to identify and resolve the obstacles to peace and lasting freedom. His consistent dedication to our shared, eternal truth has inspired Avita as a unique and healing approach to yoga. Jeff has found that yoga can heal almost anything with a reflective, self-forgiving approach.
Jeff is the founder of Avita Yoga. He has a long and diverse yoga background that began in 1985 in Gunnison, CO. The son of a rural veterinarian, Jeff developed an early appreciation for anatomy and physiology, both of which form a basis for the practical nature of a yoga practice. He can reduce the complexities of the body and mind to simple, understandable terms and works with people of all ages to relieve chronic pain and bring more joy to life.

Feeling every feeling and seeing every thought she can, Rhoda will share the journey of studying, journaling, contemplating, being inspired by, and surrendering to Truth. Inspired by so many teachers including those here at Awakening Together, Rhoda will share her contemplations and invites you to come and discuss your experience with your own surrender experiment. This undefended dialogue with Inner Wisdom is just one more way to observe as the self is undone–the intention being to leave space only for awareness of Awareness and release everything that covers Truth.
In this program, Rev. Rhoda will explore the teachings of Michael Singer, Regina Dawn Akers, Paul Hedderman, Roger Castillo, Helen Hamilton, and many more.

To the degree that you are unaware of ego, you are a slave to ego. It speaks in your mind as you, and you think it is you, so you talk, feel and act based on its deception. The way to become free of ego is, first and foremost, to become aware of its cunning messages.
In this retreat, you will learn to see how the ego tricks you into living from its guidance instead of from spiritual intuition. When you leave this retreat, you will see the ego more clearly than you did before. That will provide you with the opportunity to disregard ego, which is how you free yourself from it.
This retreat is led by Anne Blanchard & Kate Brennan. The retreat will emphasize skills that help you transcend ego and recognize inner wisdom as the Voice that makes you happy.
Saturday, January 13 – Sunday, January 14; Saturday, January 20 – Sunday, January 21; and Saturday, January 27 – Sunday, January 28. The retreat will begin at 10am ET (8am MT) and end at 5pm ET (3pm MT) each day. A 2-hour lunch period will be provided beginning about 1pm ET (11am MT).
Revs. Joanne Schneider, Rhoda Makled, and Kelly Barber host the program on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 7:30 – 8:30 pm ET.
In this program, we engage in and discuss the 500 Days with NTI program designed by our founder and the scribe of The Holy Spirit’s Interpretation of the New Testament (NTI), Regina Dawn Akers. Regina developed this free self-study spiritual curriculum for people with very busy lives. If you don’t have a lot of available time, but you are serious about spiritual awakening, this may be the curriculum for you!
500 Days provides daily exercises that you can do as you work, socialize, clean house, do yard work, work out, play, etc. It’s a course that goes with you wherever you go!
