Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert and Connie Poole play Regina Dawn Akers’ Early Teaching videos and invite those in attendance to contemplate those teachings along with them.

Because these teachings are so helpful, Jacquelyn and Connie plan to slowly review them by playing one or two of them each week and contemplating them in a group format.

Heart Explorations: Embracing the Whole Show ~ 12/13/22

During our time together, we will explore what it takes to live from an open, undefended heart.  Naturally, any true exploration of living from the heart necessarily entails taking a deep and sustained look at what prevents us from keeping our hearts open.  Grounded in the knowledge that the essence of us, our true nature, is the very lovingness within us all, we will explore how to recognize and release egoic energies by cultivating open-hearted awareness practices which support us in directly experiencing our true Self.  By leaning into willingness, steeped in self-honesty, and with a consistent dash of courage, we endeavor to open to whatever life brings, as it brings it, that is, on life’s terms.  In so doing, we trust that everything – absolutely everything – is here for us to use for healing, for purification, and for learning to live from the heart.  We look forward to supporting each other in our individual explorations of how we truly embrace the entirety of this show we call life.

Herein Lies the Peace of God ~ NTI Luke Chapter 18

In this program, Revs. Jacquelyn Eckert and Glen Ganaway review and discuss The Keys to NTI.

The program focuses on how the principles of The Holy Spirit’s Interpretation of the New Testament inform their personal lives, relationships with others, and relationship with the world at large. This program is an ongoing weekly exploration of the timeless teachings that came through the scribe, Regina Dawn Akers.

New Program, “500 Days Contemplating NTI” Debuting Jan.10th at 7:30 pm ET

Our founder and the scribe of The Holy Spirit’s Interpretation of the New Testament (NTI), Regina Dawn Akers, developed this free self-study spiritual curriculum for people with very busy lives. If you don’t have a lot of available time, but you are serious about spiritual awakening, this may be the curriculum for you!

And if you’ve been called to this practice, we are excited to announce that a group is forming to contemplate the “500 Days with NTI” curriculum together. Join Revs. Joanne Schneider, Susan Bacon, and Rhoda Makled on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month beginning Tuesday, January 10th @ 7:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. MT. You are invited to begin the curriculum on Sunday, January 8th.

Begin the First 100 Days Now

During the first meeting we will:

  1. Review the practice and what we will do when we gather.
  2. Begin sharing from the first 3 days of the “500 Days with NTI” curriculum. 
How Much Time Does It Take?

500 Days with NTI requires only a minimal amount of formal “sit down” practice. You’ll read approximately 1 page of NTI on most days. Occasionally you’ll read more. You’ll have one spiritual education assignment each weekend, which will typically take about 30 minutes to an hour. Sometimes it may take a little longer. After a certain point in the curriculum, you’ll be asked to meditate briefly on a daily basis (can you do 15 minutes?), and you’ll be asked to write every now and then.

Altogether, it will take about 30-40 minutes on most days. It’s designed so you can break that up into 15-20 minutes in the evening and 15-20 minutes in the morning if that suits your schedule best.

If It Doesn’t Take a Lot of Time, How Does it Work?

500 Days provides daily exercises that you can do as you work, socialize, clean house, do yard work, work out, play, etc. It’s a course that goes with you wherever you go!

Regina jokingly calls this curriculum, “super gentle healing.” However, don’t let the nickname fool you. Although 500 Days doesn’t take a lot of time each day, it is incredibly targeted and carefully designed by inspiration to help you achieve clarity and inner peace in this lifetime. You might even wake up to the true Self.

Is It For Me?

500 Days is perfect for most people. It is not recommended for people who are currently in Year 1 or Year 2 of Gentle Healing. It is also not recommended for people who are currently taking Awakening Together’s Minister Preparation Program (MPP).  500 Days could be combined with Year 3 of Gentle Healing if you have time for both.

If you’re ready to start and you feel called to the group format, then please do join us by beginning your own self-study of “500 Days with NTI” on January 8th. Then join us in the sanctuary on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, beginning January 10th.

WORKSHOP for Ministers: MPP Facilitator Training

Just in case you missed it, we are seeking Awakening Together Ordained Ministers to facilitate courses in our Minister Preparation Program (MPP). Facilitating the MPP courses is an excellent way to review the teachings you learned in these courses. In addition, facilitation helps you deepen in those teachings and into your own spiritual practice. MPP facilitators are also paid for facilitating MPP courses.

In order to become certified to facilitate MPP, ministers must complete our MPP Facilitators Training course. In this course, ministers will be trained and certified to facilitate MPP in both the forum and weekly class meeting formats.

In this class you will learn:

  1. The participant will learn basic facilitation skills.
  2. The participant will practice giving effective feedback.
  3. The participant will learn how to prepare to facilitate each MPP course.

Workshop Dates & Times: Friday, January 20, 2023 through Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET each day

Homework Commitment: Prior to the start of the workshop homework will be assigned which you will be required to prepare and share.  Time commitment is approximately 45-60 minutes per day for 3 days prior to the start of the workshop.

Format: Classes will be held live on Zoom.
