This retreat is perfect for anyone who wants to awaken (realize truth) in this lifetime. It is also an excellent retreat for those who are already familiar with the Loving Consciousness & Loving All methods and would like to increase mastery of these practices.
Loving Consciousness is a meditative method designed to be practiced as a mediation. While the Loving All Method is a practice of embodied truth where the practice is observing, accepting, and loving what is.
Acceptance is the decision to accept every experience exactly as it is without judging that it should be different. The deepest form of acceptance is love. Therefore, a key practice that undoes illusion and disengages from the “I know” and “I’m right” imposter mind is The Loving All Method.
At its most basic level, illusion is the appearance of two things, the experiencer (you) and the experience (everything else). You are the “I” that experiences everything else, which is “not I.”
The “not I” or the experienced appears as many things, some things that are judged as good or desired and other things that are judged as bad or not desired. The Loving All Method undoes the judgment that creates many different things and collapses them into the current experience, sometimes called the ‘now’. Through Loving All, you come to the experience of “I” loving consciousness/existence.
We will also contemplate quotes from Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramana Maharshi, Muruganar, Yoga Vashistha, Margaret Coble and others. The quotes were selected by Michael Langford to support the practice of Loving Consciousness and the Loving All Method.
Spend time enjoying nature in the lovely La Veta area, interspersed with silence, meditation and contemplation.
The retreat will begin at 9 am MT Monday-Friday. Monday through Thursday the retreat will end sometime in the late afternoon or early evening. On Friday, September 2, the retreat will end by 3 pm MT. Retreat fee includes lunch.
In this program, Paul through the vehicle of Satsang and repetition will be helping us to let go of misidentification and recognize Being Consciousness as our Truth.
Paul suggests repetition through Satsangs is helpful. It is an example of how the dreamING repurposes another programming element, repetition. What was used to (mis)identify, becomes instead a helpful undoing within the dreaming of that identification. The helpfulness of the Message is recognized in what Paul calls “traveling lighter.” In the surrender of an assumed need to escape/improve, the ever-present reality of consciousness already now/here becomes where our interest stays. Being consciousness in contact (in/as/through sensory experiencING), we appreciate being “successful” – already, as that Reality.

During our time together, we will explore what it takes to live from an open, undefended heart. By leaning into willingness, steeped in self-honesty, and with a consistent dash of courage, we endeavor to open to whatever life brings, as it brings it, that is, on life’s terms. In so doing, we trust that everything – absolutely everything – is here for us to use for healing, for purification, and for learning to live from the heart. We look forward to supporting each other in our individual explorations of how we truly embrace the entirety of this show we call life.
