Do you find yourself having questions about some of the teachings from Regina Dawn Akers? Have you ever wondered what Regina’s Inner Wisdom meant to Regina?

For many years, Regina has been a spiritual teacher for so many. As such, she has taught on many topics through her own contemplations and spiritual journey.  2022 is Regina’s final year as a full-time employee with Awakening Together. In this final year, Regina has been inspired to clarify her teachings, as they come to her, on her path.

Each week, Regina picks a topic and points us directly to the intention of the teaching around that topic. In addition, when time permits, Regina takes questions on the topic of the teaching in a Satsang type of format.

Join Us for April’s Satsang with Cay Villars

Cay VillarsThis month’s Satsang will be held on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 at 7:30 P.M. (EDT) with Cay Villars who will be interviewed by Laura Bedford. Cay is a mystic in full devotion to following the Voice of Jesus in the continual celebration of inner Light. Some call this Enlightenment or Union with God. She is called the “laughing mystic” for the joy and sense of humor expressed in Satsang/Joining in Light Sessions.

She began hearing a Voice while volunteering as a behavioral change coach in prisons for men and women in Wisconsin. While studying A Course in Miracles (ACIM) she experienced mystical visions in which Jesus appeared. In the first vision, he gave her the blue Joining in Light image, a symbol of the healing power of joining to quickly release upsets and thus celebrate shared Light within. Jesus taught her to hear and follow His Voice through assignments in India, Portugal, Europe, Mexico, Bali, and Jerusalem.

Her “storyline in the world” included executive coaching, management, marketing, intuitive healer, and scientist, which led to the realization that there is no storyline of more value than the happiness of Divine Being in celebration of all the Love there is.

The symbols of Joining in Light in the form of Light Circles and Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM, a message to ACIM Students JANC ACIM) were extended to Cay in mystical visions and conversations with Jesus–the Voice for God. Yet this is only a reminder that this Voice is available to everyone as everyone is Light, the Light of Love within. JANC ACIM is a message of encouragement to all ACIM students and students of non-duality that Jesus is available to directly support them fully in their path to Enlightenment.

Cay extends Jesus’ teachings that everyone can hear and follow Jesus/the Voice for God as a means to Enlightenment, the complete undoing of the ego to transcend all pain, illness, and suffering of the world. This is the joy and peace that surpasses understanding.

She is Director for the Joining in Light Silent Devotional Center.  The Center is a 501c3 nonprofit devoted to the mystical teachings of Jesus for release of hidden desires for pain and suffering.  The Center offers daily zoom joining sessions, a phone app, online programs, and in residency Light training programs hearing the Voice for God and quickly releasing hidden subconscious desires to deny Divinity.

Day 449 Assignment

This evening (or tomorrow morning):

Read NTI 2 John in full.

Tomorrow:

  1. Set a timer for the amount of time you want to meditate, and then meditate with this Awareness-Watching-Awareness audio.
  2. Watch your mind. Feel within for current moment guidance; live, speak and act from the right-mind while realizing you are listening to (intuiting) You. When you see egoic thoughts, recognize they do not come from your truth and let them go.

Gentle Healing Year 3 ~ Daily Contemplation #369

Please read quotes 1269-1272 in The Seven Steps to Awakening with your inner teacher. Here is the last quote:

There is no other path of freedom from the bondage of the world but knowledge of the reality of his Self, for him who would be free.

Gentle Healing Year 1 Tip – Lesson 69, My grievances hide the light of the world from me

Many people undertake spiritual practice with this personal point-of-view in tact:

I am not worthy of God/awakening. I have to struggle against God/reality to try to awaken. (Of course, in the end it is never going to happen anyway, because I am not worthy of it.)

It’s important to notice that Lesson 69 says the opposite:

“Your little effort and small determination call on the power of the universe to help you, and God Himself (reality itself) will raise you from darkness into light. You are in accord with His (its) Will. … Have confidence in your Father (source) today.”

We can lack the desire and intention for awakening, which is to be “too loose.” When we are too loose we do not call on God (the universe) to help us awaken.

We can also have the hidden attitude stated above where we feel we have to struggle with all of our might for something we will never quite be able to reach, which is to be “too tight.” This reinforces the ego’s belief system.

I am a fan of “the middle way.” The middle way is between too loose and too tight.

The middle way attitude recognizes that the goal of Self-realization is “dearer to us than all else.” It softly and lovingly holds this acknowledgement in the heart.

The middle way attitude gives willing attention to spiritual practice because the goal of awakening is “dearer to us than all else.” It continues in the direction of awakening, even amongst other things that are happening in life, with an underlying confidence that:

~ Awakening is possible for me

~ Awakening is God’s (the universe’s) will for all of us

~ If I simply put one foot in front of the other consistently and do not forget my purpose, God (the universe) will recognize my readiness and naturally respond by doing its part

When we walk the middle way, we remember to practice and we practice willingly, but we also have confidence in something beyond the little self to assist in bringing us to truth. We don’t have lack of interest and we aren’t struggling like we have to bend the universe against its will. We have confidence that we are working in cooperation with God (the universe) in a joined will, one we are becoming fully ready for now. … God (the universe) was already ready.
