  1. Practice Leo’s emotion exercise with an emotion that is strong for you now or with this assigned emotion: regret

  2. Read NTI Matthew 23 (v1-4) through (v13-22).

Tomorrow:

  1. Set a timer for 7 minutes and practice the brain relaxation meditation.
  2. Briefly consider the following statement at least 6 times throughout the day:
    Truth is calling me, and I want to answer its call.
  3. Whenever you are upset by anything, big or small, relax your body and practice being the superconductor. As you do, say to yourself, “Now I am giving this the purpose of Heaven.”

Gentle Healing Year 1 Tip For Lesson 48

Tips from Regina – Lesson 48, There is nothing to fear.

Today’s workbook lesson does not have a period of meditation. At our last Gentle Healing group meeting, I asked you to practice 5 minutes of awareness-watching-awareness meditation each morning even if the workbook lesson does not include meditation. This is a reminder of that request and, hopefully, a little bit of inspiration regarding the request.

Our reading this week is NTI James. In NTI James, Chapter 4, we are reminded, “You always receive as you have asked, … You ask from the process of creation through desire, which you give your energy to.” And then we are told, “Quietness is attentiveness.”

For most of us, the goal of Gentle Healing is Self-Realization. Yet, we have to admit that most of our attention (energy) goes to the world and thoughts about the world. That shows we still have a strong desire for illusion (and we always receive as we ask).

If we want Self-realization, we must begin to reverse what we do with our energy. We must begin to give attention to within, away from the world and our thoughts. This is the purpose of awareness-watching-awareness meditation.

Quietness is attentiveness to the Self.

By taking time and focusing attention on awareness, we genuinely ask for Self-Realization. And we ALWAYS receive as we ask.

Nisargadatta Maharaj taught that in order to realize the Self, we must overcome the obstacles of “desire for the false and fear of the true.” How do we overcome these obstacles? By our action. When we turn attention away from the world and thoughts, we are overcoming the desire for the false. When we place attention with awareness (changeless being), we are overcoming our fear of the true.

There is nothing to fear. Close your eyes and practice a bit of awareness-watching-awareness each day. In this way, you ask for Self-Realization.

Gentle Healing 2 ~ Day 355 – GH Year 2 Review: The Love of Discipline

Please read The Love of Discipline from The Teachings of Inner Ramana  and contemplate it with your inner teacher. Follow inner prompting regarding the best way to contemplate the reading with the inner teacher. If you don’t feel a specific prompt, ask the inner teacher to share whatever is most important for you to know, see or realize regarding this message.

If prompted, review the tip from Day 313.

For the remainder of Year 2, use each day’s Thought of Awakening as a prayer that you return to throughout the day in order to remain in a state of devotion.

Qigong : “The Movement of Now” with Ian McArthur ~ 2-23-21

In this program, Ian teaches about the traditional Mind, Body, and Spirit practice of Qigong (Chi Kung). Qi meaning life energy, referring to the energy circulating through the body, and Gong meaning cultivation or work. The two words are combined to describe a practice to cultivate and balance life energy. By following movements (forms) and a simple breathing technique, we encourage more Qi to flow which in turn allows us to feel more peaceful and at One with ourselves.

Live in the Sanctuary Sundays at 2:30-3:30 pm ET/12:30-1:30 pm MT on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the Month.

Review what you wrote regarding, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind” at least two different times during the day.
