We are seeking Awakening Together Ordained Ministers to facilitate courses in our Minister Preparation Program (MPP). Facilitating the MPP courses is an excellent way to review the teachings you learned in these courses. In addition, facilitation helps you deepen in those teachings and into your own spiritual practice. MPP facilitators are also paid for facilitating MPP courses.

In order to become certified to facilitate MPP, ministers must complete our MPP Facilitators Training course. In this course, ministers will be trained and certified to facilitate MPP in both the forum and weekly zoom class meeting formats.

In this class you will learn:

The participant will learn basic facilitation skills.
The participant will practice giving effective feedback.
The participant will learn how to prepare to facilitate each MPP course.

Workshop Dates & Times: Friday, October 4, 2024 through Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET each day

Homework Commitment: Prior to the start of the workshop homework will be assigned which you will be required to prepare and share. Time commitment is approximately 45-60 minutes per day for 3 days prior to the start of the workshop.

Format: Classes will be held live on Zoom.

Have you ever felt stuck on the spiritual path? Does your life feel like a distraction from what you think the spiritual path should be? What if we told you that your experience and your life are perfect, and we can show you how to use both to awaken?

At this retreat you will learn about five unexpected pathways to wisdom: thought, judgment, pain, helplessness, and confusion. These five pathways are usually thought of as obstacles. With just the slightest shift it is seen that an obstacle becomes a pathway.

Anne will guide you through processes and practices that turn attention to the Truth and guide us from the wisdom within.

Retreat Schedule

The retreat will begin at 10am ET (8am MT) and end at 5pm ET (3pm MT) each day. A 2-hour lunch period will be provided beginning about 1pm ET (11am MT).

Awakening Together is delighted to introduce a renewed Spiritual Mentoring Program, designed to support you on your spiritual journey through two possible opportunities. This program is tailored to accommodate both communal and individual needs as well as fostering a nurturing environment where participants can explore, understand, and deepen their spiritual practice.

Mentoring Sangha: 6-Week Spiritual Practice Sessions

Mentoring Sangha offers participants the unique opportunity to join a small, intimate sangha that meets weekly under the guidance of a certified spiritual mentor. Sanghas are best for those who are seeking an opportunity to grow their own spiritual confidence, competence and commitment. Each sangha, limited to a maximum of three participants plus the mentor, creating a supportive and confidential space to share and explore spiritual practices. Over the course of 6 weeks, these sessions are dedicated to the following:

Collective Sharing: Engage in meaningful discussions about personal challenges and spiritual questions, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
Agreed Practices: Through consensus, the group will select specific spiritual practices to contemplate and implement in their daily lives, creating a practical framework for becoming Self reliant on Inner Wisdom.
Reflective Reporting: Participants will have the chance to reflect on their experiences, sharing insights and breakthroughs, fostering spiritual commitment, competency and confidence through an ever-deepening connection to Inner Wisdom.

The 2- hour sangha meetings are structured to ensure a nurturing and productive environment. The cost for this transformative 6-week journey is $180.

Please join us as we continue to contemplate Out of the Stillness & The Seven Steps to Awakening. This program is on Wednesdays, 3pm ET / 1pm MT (except for the first Wednesday of the month).

“Awakening Together was designed by inner guidance to be a sangha rather than a guru-centered collective.”

As we step into the vision of “The Sangha is the New Guru” we are learning how the sangha is its own teacher, and honing the skills that are important for each member of a highly effective sangha. We are teaching ourselves how to genuinely support awakening, for each of us and for the community.

The primary qualities of a sangha are:

Members genuinely live the spiritual teachings they study.
They speak and teach from their own authentic experience.
They support one another on the spiritual path.

During this program we are currently contemplating Out of the Stillness and The Seven Steps to Awakening as Regina had been contemplating during this time.

A new facilitator will also be assigned each week. The facilitator will be the one to facilitate the program during the following week. The facilitator will lead by reading the quotes, calling on participants who wish to share their contemplations and may also be the one to share contemplations. To be a facilitator you will need both books.

Any questions posed will be posed to the group and inner wisdom will be brought forth from the sangha in response. We invite anyone who feels called to join us as we step into the vision of a highly effective sangha.
