Heart Explorations: Embracing the Whole Show ~ 09-10-24

During our time together, we will explore what it takes to live from an open, undefended heart.  Naturally, any true exploration of living from the heart necessarily entails taking a deep and sustained look at what prevents us from keeping our hearts open.  Grounded in the knowledge that the essence of us, our true nature, is the very lovingness within us all, we will explore how to recognize and release egoic energies by cultivating open-hearted awareness practices which support us in directly experiencing our true Self.  By leaning into willingness, steeped in self-honesty, and with a consistent dash of courage, we endeavor to open to whatever life brings, as it brings it, that is, on life’s terms.  In so doing, we trust that everything – absolutely everything – is here for us to use for healing, for purification, and for learning to live from the heart.  We look forward to supporting each other in our individual explorations of how we truly embrace the entirety of this show we call life.

Retreat Description

Awakening Together is an assembly of peers, all of whom are dedicated to realizing truth, all of whom see with clarity, and all of whom are inspired teachers, whether they see themselves that way or not. At this retreat, each one will have the opportunity to contemplate, to share, and to listen to inspired teachings. Rhoda Makled will facilitate this retreat. Each week she will provide guidance followed by a topic for contemplation and consideration. Between sessions, participants will contemplate the topic assigned, and then come back together for Clarity Circle, where each one will be invited to teach (or share) from their inspired clarity.

Rhoda intends to challenge participants with contemplation assignments, so you will surprise yourself with the depth of clarity that arises from within—from the One that we all are. This retreat is based on the teachings of Dr. David Hawkins.

This retreat will be held online Thursdays September 26 – October 31 from 6-9pm ET (4-7pm MT).

Retreat Fee is $360
$50 non-refundable deposit is required

Please join us as we continue to contemplate Out of the Stillness & The Seven Steps to Awakening. This program is on Wednesdays, 3pm ET / 1pm MT (except for the first Wednesday of the month).

“Awakening Together was designed by inner guidance to be a sangha rather than a guru-centered collective.”

As we step into the vision of “The Sangha is the New Guru” we are learning how the sangha is its own teacher, and honing the skills that are important for each member of a highly effective sangha. We are teaching ourselves how to genuinely support awakening, for each of us and for the community.

The primary qualities of a sangha are:

  • Members genuinely live the spiritual teachings they study.
  • They speak and teach from their own authentic experience.
  • They support one another on the spiritual path.

During this program we are currently contemplating Out of the Stillness and The Seven Steps to Awakening as Regina had been contemplating during this time.

A new facilitator will also be assigned each week. The facilitator will be the one to facilitate the program during the following week. The facilitator will lead by reading the quotes, calling on participants who wish to share their contemplations and may also be the one to share contemplations. To be a facilitator you will need both books.

Any questions posed will be posed to the group and inner wisdom will be brought forth from the sangha in response. We invite anyone who feels called to join us as we step into the vision of a highly effective sangha.
