The Bhagavad Gita is an eternal message of spiritual wisdom from ancient India. The word Gita means song and Bhagavad means God, so the Bhagavad Gita is literally the Song of God. Most experts feel the Bhagavad Gita was written 2200 – 2500 years ago, although some experts say that it was written as much as 5000 years ago. The Bhagavad Gita is a conversation, set on a battlefield, between Lord Krishna and Prince Arjuna. It is comprised of 700 sanskrit verses contained within 18 chapters. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna discusses topics such as ultimate truth, reincarnation, states of mind and liberation (awakening).

It was written as a personal journal over 8½ years as she contemplated quotes from spiritual masters and practiced the insight she realized through contemplation. The quotes Regina contemplated were collected by Michael Langford and published in The Seven Steps to Awakening. Both books are used in this program.

This undefended dialogue with Inner Wisdom is just one more way to observe as the self is undone–the intention being to leave space only for awareness of Awareness and release everything that covers Truth.

This half-hour session is designed for both current and future ministers who are interested in serving the Awakening Heart Sangha Community in Ajijic, Mexico.
The Visiting Ministers program offers a unique opportunity for Awakening Together Ordained Ministers to extend their service to our community members residing in the Villa del Angel community. Awakening Together exclusively facilitates this initiative to support our members and foster an effective and successful sangha in the spirit of service.

In this program, we engage in and discuss the 500 Days with NTI program designed by our founder and the scribe of The Holy Spirit’s Interpretation of the New Testament (NTI), Regina Dawn Akers. Regina developed this free self-study spiritual curriculum for people with very busy lives. If you don’t have a lot of available time, but you are serious about spiritual awakening, this may be the curriculum for you!
500 Days provides daily exercises that you can do as you work, socialize, clean house, do yard work, work out, play, etc. It’s a course that goes with you wherever you go!
