Something Genuine: “The Abundance of Letting Go” 7/17/22

In this program, we watched and discussed a selected TEDtalk. A TEDtalk follows a unique format. Speakers at TED events have a maximum of 18 minutes to share their messages, which are delivered in highly polished, succinct speeches. A TEDtalk is delivered by people from all walks of life on a multitude of subjects. A great many of these talks are about the insights gained by ordinary people–insights gained through extraordinary experiences or based on their contemplation of the ordinary events of their lives. Either way, their insights are genuine—not based upon theory or dogma, but through experience.

This Ted Talk is called “The Abundance of Letting Go.” The Speaker is Dr. Alison Tan.

Dr. Alison Tan is passionate about people. Overcoming her intense panic attacks gave her the courage to see her non-serving old beliefs, and helped shift her perspective to one of self-acceptance. Today, she supports senior executives to embrace who they are, rather than whom they feel they have to be.

Awakening At Home — Online Retreat with Rev. Cyndi Krupp

The Awakening at Home Retreat is being offered virtually from August 16th – 20th.  Created by Regina Dawn Akers, Rev. Cyndi Krupp will be facilitating this experience with her own unique open hearted approach and her passion for the teachings.

During the Awakening at Home Retreat participants will be given 10 Tools that Regina has highlighted as instrumental on her own journey and can be used by anyone with the desire to Awaken.

Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert interviewed Hale Dwoskin.

Hale Dwoskin has dedicated more than four decades to teaching and sharing the Sedona Method. The Sedona Method is designed to help people alleviate their suffering, actualize their goals, and discover the Truth of who they are. Hale is the author of the New York Times bestseller The Sedona Method and coauthor of Happiness is Free And It’s Easier Than You Think with Lester Levenson. He is one of the featured teachers in the book and movie phenomenon The Secret as well as a featured teacher in Rhonda Byrne’s latest book, The Greatest Secret. He is also featured in the movie Letting Go. Hale is the director of training, lead teacher, and spokesperson of Sedona Training Associates, an organization created to promote the emotional releasing techniques inspired by his friend, mentor, and original teacher Lester Levenson. He is also a founding member of the Transformational Leadership Council.

For many years, Regina has been a spiritual teacher for so many. As such, she has taught on many topics through her own contemplations and spiritual journey.  2022 is Regina’s final year as a full-time employee with Awakening Together. In this final year, Regina has been inspired to clarify her teachings, as they come to her, on her path.

Each week, Regina picks a topic and points us directly to the intention of the teaching around that topic. In addition, when time permits, Regina takes questions on the topic of the teaching in a Satsang-type of format.
