Regina Will Begin a New Program in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays, Starting on July 20 at 3pm ET

Well, it’s not actually a new  program. It’s the return of an old program. Regina taught from her contemplation of The Seven Steps to Awakening  from January 2012 through March 2018, then she let it go to focus on other programs. Now, Regina will begin sharing from her Seven Steps journal once again, this time using the published version of her journal, Out of the Stillness: Realizing Non-Dual Truth One Step at a Time.

For many years, Regina has been a spiritual teacher for so many. As such, she has taught on many topics through her own contemplations and spiritual journey.  2022 is Regina’s final year as a full-time employee with Awakening Together. In this final year, Regina has been inspired to clarify her teachings, as they come to her, on her path.

Each week, Regina picks a topic and points us directly to the intention of the teaching around that topic. In addition, when time permits, Regina takes questions on the topic of the teaching in a Satsang-type of format.

Introducing This Month’s Movie, “Philomena”

Plan to join us for a discussion of this month’s movie, Philomena, on Sunday, July 24 at 8 pm ET/6 pm MT.  Joy (Laura) Bedford will be facilitating this month’s movie discussion.

Philomena is a 2013 biography drama comedy film directed by Stephen Frears. It stars Dame Judi Dench, Steve Coogan and Sophie Kennedy Clark.

Philomena is based on a true story of elderly Irish woman searching for the son she was forced to give up for adoption when she was a teenager. Accompanying her is a disgraced journalist who wants to write an article about her quest.

Paul Hedderman ~ Traveling Lighter 7-5-22

In this program, Paul through the vehicle of Satsang and repetition will be helping us to let go of misidentification and recognize Being Consciousness as our Truth.

Paul suggests repetition through Satsangs is helpful.  It is an example of how the dreamING repurposes another programming element, repetition.   What was used to (mis)identify, becomes instead a helpful undoing within the dreaming of that identification.  The helpfulness of the Message is recognized in what Paul calls “traveling lighter.”  In the surrender of an assumed need to escape/improve, the ever-present reality of consciousness already now/here becomes where our interest stays. Being consciousness in contact (in/as/through sensory experiencING), we appreciate being “successful” – already, as that Reality.

Following the recent Awakening Together online retreats it has become clear that many feel called to dive into intensive follow-up work. While the practice of unearthing and looking directly at our individual beliefs is primarily solitary in nature, we all recognize that the sharing of that work with others who are undergoing the same process can be enormously beneficial and supportive. This will be a time of sharing our inquiries, insights and challenges, listening to others, or just knowing that we are in community as we find that undefended place within ourselves that longs to be free.

Their insights are genuine—not based upon theory or dogma—and give us a “man on the street” perspective on what we are coming to learn through Awakening Together.

Each week Regina picks a different topic and clarifies the teaching around that topic. She also takes questions regarding that topic. If there is extra time at the end of the session, she takes questions on any spiritual topic in a Satsang-type of format.
