to listen to Me,
to practice with Me,
and to be one in my love
until you know nothing
but Me
as Me.

Awakening Together is happy to announce we have a brand new weekly program, Cobwebs and Crevices, with Laura Bedford. The program will take place on Wednesdays from 8:30-9 pm ET in the Sanctuary.

The purpose of the program will be to help strengthen awareness of what is still playing in the subconscious that may not yet be fully seen and then let go of what has yet to be given up.

Even with the best of intentions we are consciously and subconsciously choosing to deny our True Self, our Light, our Divine Nature but it is in the deep looking where we can release this tendency. In this program, we are invited to locate and invite Divine Light to undo surprising subconscious desires that we keep choosing (yep, choosing!) so that we may fully awaken. This work is based on information being taught by Jesus of A Course in Miracles through a soon-to-be-published book Jesus: A New Covenant

Jesus says we are open enough now. We’re ready for this deepest looking. If you experience anything less than absolute peace, joy, and radiance beyond the measure of God (our True Nature) at all times, it can be discovered that we are still desiring less than the full awareness of our Divine Nature. The great news is that Jesus, being in charge of the atonement, does the heavy lifting in our subconscious mind IF we give him permission.

All are welcomed to journey with us in this deep ongoing discovery!

Thoughts of Awakening # 235

Identity is an obstacle,
because identity defines you
as separate
from everything else you experience.

It says you are unique,
different, stand-apart,
and special.

These ideas are in opposition
to truth,
because these ideas create
the illusion of opposition
where there is only peace.

Continue to ask, “What am I?”,
remembering that the answer
is beyond definition.

And notice that even when
you are not asking the question,
the mind is constantly answering
with ideas of defined identity.

Thoughts of Awakening # 234

When one realizes
that he is not the one
he previously thought he was,
he is ready to attain
a permanent sense of Self.
He is ready to awaken to Self.

But when one believes fully
that he is what he is not,
he has no true interest
in Self-realization.

Ask yourself, “What am I?”
and let the belief in self
be washed away
through seeing that its limits
cannot be You.
